It changes the harddisk cache settings (increases the amount of memory
used to cache the hd)

Well you should only use this if you have 32MB or more memory, if you
have less it will only slow your pc down, because win has less memory
to use for programs. If you have 32mb or more you should be fine using
this, and it will improve the speed a bit.

Id appreciate any info since this advice was given to me many times and
I want to know what changes it will have on my system and any downsides
or problems I may incur by doing this.
