NFS-SE and Windows95 and TM GP1 Steering Wheel

Hi!

When installing Need For Speed Special Edition in Windows95, I cannot
calibrate my Thrustmaster GP1 Steering Wheel because the game doesn't
recognize the "button" on the wheel!

The wheel is good installed, "custom" 2-axis, 4-button racing
controller choosen in the Win95 control panel. Calibrated okay here
and all four buttons do work here (in control panel/joystick
configuration).
The buttons also work perfectly in Screamer2 under Windows95.
And all buttons work perfectly in NFS-SE in plain vanilla DOS...
...but I want it to work in Windows95 for the network etc...

Any help, please! How do I get the game to "see" my buttons on the
steering wheel? Any tips on JCU.EXE configuring welcome.

Bye,
Erik.
