Just wanted to thank everyone, expecially Eric, for helping me out with
info on increasing Winblowz95 performance and Video cards... you were
all very helpful.  I will probably purchase the StealthII for an all
around good card with rendition performance so I can play N2 in
rendition and then have a good card to accelerate 2d.  I will then wait
for the new Voodoo 2 boards early next year and hopefully the N2 patch
for 3dfx will have been released and thoroughly tested.. upgraded.. etc.

Does anyone know of the 1998 N2 Ford Taurus set is out anywhere yet ??
I know most changes for next year have been announced including painting
schemes...   would love to have the new set =)

My plans exactly and for the same reasons.

Good post based on always good ETB input. This may have been posted
before, but there is a review of seven of the latest and greatest video
cards at http://www.gamecenter.com/Hardware/Roundup/3dcards2/. The real
world game benchmark results are at
http://www.gamecenter.com/Hardware/Roundup/3dcards2/ss02d.html.

I found it interesting that for D3D, better "fill rate" and "polygon
throughput" did not necessarily translate into better framerate.
