Rob, I don't know where you're located, but about the only places to try are
the second-hand games shops, such as Boomerang Software and CD
Revolution.......or the equivalent of where you are.

Although this game is still available new for Nintendo Game Cube and X-Box,
nobody is retailing it for the PC anymore.

Bruce.

Bruce, Thanks mate - I'm in Melbourne...I'll check around - failing that I
have just found a site in the USA that has it for $US14.95 + shipping and
they will ship to Oz...
I guess now it's whether the BPR mod is worth the effort...if it's half as
good as the FIA GT mod for F1 2001, then if all else fails I'll go the US
route..

Rob

EA F1 2002 in Australia - where to buy...??????

Unless yer really strapped for cash, I'd wait for F1 Challenge, which is an
updated anthology of the last 4 years of ISI/EA F1 sims in one box.  The
biggest improvement is in the multiplayer, but there are useful upgrades in
stuff like graphics & sound.  I never tried it with the GTR2002 mod, but I
would imagine most of the relevant mods would work, no prob.  OTOH, if you
can wait, the NASCAR Thunder 2004 game, graphics, physics and multiplayer
engines are even better, and are fully moddable, so I would imagine the best
of future mods (GTR2004, or whatever) will be applied to this sim.  F1C
should be out later this month, and I *think* NT04 is due in September, or
maybe October at the latest.

Oops!  I see F1C (aka F1 99-02) is already out.

BTW and AFAIK, this is NOT the same dev't team (ISI) that's done the
similarly named F1 Career Challenge (altho also an EA game) for the console
crowd.
