Thanks but that's not what I asked.  I wanted to know if GTR2002 was a mod
for *EA SPORTS* F1 2002

It sure is.  I always assumed the game engine was the reason the F1
cars were modelled so poorly, but seeing what can be done by people
who are attentive to detail and have some real race engineering
experience has me very impressed.

I'm already thinking about uninstalling N2002 now since I may not play
it again.  If Doug does the physics for the F1 77 mod and they include
enough historic tracks, I may end up uninstalling GPL as well.

It had better be :)  I just went out and bought F1 2002 (CAN$30, not bad...)
for the sole puropse of use with this mod.  I've given up on F1 sims after
F12K1... always disappointing.

EA's programmers must be having a sob and group hug about now... when a
bunch of "amateurs" can improve on what they spent months working on.

Hah!

Wife's out tonight so I'll reserve judgement on this add-on when I have time
to try it.

I've only loaded up Brands Hatch so far.  Would I be going too far if I were
to say it has the best track textures ever in a sim?

real....and the parents are not computer people.
