OK folks, help me out here. I seem to have come across an old BUG in the AI
at Talladega in NR1999. When going into turn 1 and a car is coming out of
the pits, everybody who is down low SLAMS on the brakes as if the car coming
out is gonna pull into they're line. I can't believe this is back! I was
right behind Mark Martin when Ol'e DW was coming out from a pit stop and all
of the sudden Martin slams on the brakes! When viewing the replay Martin
went from 190MPH down to 127MPH in about 2 seconds.

Can anyone else varify this?

Not this exact situation, but I have had similar incidents. After the pace
lap when the green flag is displayed, the low line will perform a brake
check. I ended up slamming Michael Waltrip from behind without even
applying any gas. Oh well, not as bad as when Bill Elliot went spinning
around Tally backwards at 500 mph. Hehe. Still have a replay of that.
