GPL optimized sound

First: Excuse my Englisch, Itmvb ;-)

Today, I had to completely reinstall my GPL, and that was the chance, to
find out, how I could get such a good, full sound with carsound-patch as
I had before the patch!

(GPL uses only 5 sounds for 7 cars, normally, carsound changes this)

I'm a fan of mostly authentic sound, so I tried to integrate the best
authentic sounds, I found in the net. Thanks to the guys, who worked on
that sounds.

To get best results, try these steps:

1.
on a 1.1 version without any soundpatch, install carsound (gives each
car his own sound)

2.
install gpl sounds, gives all the cars their own sound, but its not so
good with the gearsound etc., also the sqeel is not optimal: therefore:

3.
install now (and not a step before, because than it crashes) the HG GPL
Snd Pack

4.
Now you find the cooper-sound not so good, as a Maserati-Motor would
sound!!!!!!
Therefore select the weslake.wav from patsound's pd-gpl (unzipp it in
another directory, pick up only the weslake sound, rename it (in
dos-name) to cov.wav
that's it

All the patches were fond in:
the-fastlane
theuspits
high-gear

all found under the links of theuspits.com (p.e.)

good luck

Rolf
