Can anyone tell me something about this wheel with pedals?

I am interesting in buying a wheel with force feedback and pedals for
GP3 and such simulations to work under Win XP and Win 98.

If anyone has this wheel I would be gratefull for any comment about
it's qualiti and reliability in it's price class ( about $60 ).

Is it a good value?

Thanks in advance.

I think its great, except for one thing, and its the quality if the
potentiometers in the pedals.
They wear out and i havent been able to find replacement pots anywhere.
Logitech has 2 years warranty on this wheel, and when i called my support
here, they said i could
replace the wheel with a new one, but i cant find my warranty :(

I have the wheel and thinks it works great and for the price you can't go
wrong + the bonus (for me) is it works with PS2, something to keep in mind
if you have a PS2, it works for all the racing games I have tried NFS,
N2002, F12002, Sports Car GT(you get that w the wheel), STCC2, V8 Challenge,
4X4Evo2 and the list goes on those are just a few games i have tried

I'm using mine with WinME and GPL exclusively. It feels a little cheap,
but it's been working well since I got it in December. From what I hear,
though, it's best to save the warranty or get an extended one from the
dealer. I thought the pedal pots were going a month ago; but I turned it
upside down and blew the dust out, and it's back to normal. Set up was
quick and easy. I used the GPL .ini settings suggested by Alison Hine,
and I get good sensitivity to subtle changes in traction. Hope this helps
a little.

Well...

I'd like to tell you it's a great wheel, but I can't.

I had one and end up taking it back.  I went through TWO of them in one
week.  Both developed problems in the steering shaft.

Oddly, the pedals are about the best Logitech has ever done, but I assure
you that is NOT saying much.

Personally, I can guarantee you that you are better off saving an extra $30
and getting the Microsoft FF Wheel (USB Model Only).  It is extremely
durable, has about the best pedals in a consumer grade wheel, and has good
Force Feedback.

It's the best buy in this class.

The best thing in the Logitech Force GP wheel box is the Wingman software,
but that can't possibly overcome the poor quality of the hardware.

IMHO :)

The comments on the MS wheel are fair, except it only works on PC :-( Also,
I've been unable to get correct split axis operation in F1 2001.

Split axis is a game issue, not a controller issue.  F1 2001 isn't famous
for it's wonderful controller code :)

I don't recall ever getting it to work either, but it does work in F1 2002.
