A newbie question:

If I want to run F1RS on a 2PC's LAN do I have to buy two copies of the
CD ?

Thanks !

Yes, you should buy two cd's, you're running two copies of the program at
one time.......

No. But it requires swapping the CD back & forth between connected machines
until you get the race started (fortunately once the race commences
everything is ok).

Craig,

This is certainly (thankfully) not the view taken by many manufacturers
producing games with both single & multiplier modes.

Lucas arts even prints in the manuals of recent titles how many players can
play jointly before another disc need be purchased.

Q2 although needing the disc for single player mode allows multiple players
to connect for multiplier mode without additional discs.

F1GP2 & F1RS both take the approach of allowing you to start a multiplier
session provided you have at least one disc that can be passed from machine
to machine during the race start process.

etc. etc.
