When playing F1RS on a local network, there is a 2 minutes delay before
the race start. All computers registered
to the game see a chronometer slowly tiking away. I think this delay
is probably useful when playing over modem, or the internet, but when we
all are in the same room waiting
for one another 2 minutes is an eternity. Anybody knows of a patch were
I can reduce this time? According
to ubisoft there is no way to change this 2 minutes countdown.

You don't have to wait the 2 minutes, when the host press go the 2 minutes
countdown start, the other players have 2 minutes to finish setting up the
car or
if ready press go. When all players in the games press go before the end of
the 2 minutes countdown the game start right away !!!! (Tous les joueurs,
pese le bouton GO et le jeu part immediatement !!!!)
