F1Rs - multiplayer.. hello?

Has no-one no complaints about the multiplayer in this game?
The problem is that it has sooooo much potential to be really good but it
really needs a few features...

The linkup is REALLY fast with hardly no slowdown but the
collision detection goes to the dogs with lots of
"YOU HIT ME YOU %$"*^ !!!"
"NO I DIDNT I WAS MILES AWAY!"
"NO I'M STILL SPINNING ... LOOK!"
"BUT I DIDNT EVEN SEE FEEL THE BUMP!"

etc etc

Also there is no qualifing in multiplay!
you only get to start at the front of the grid...

Would it be that hard to release a patch that allowed the host
to decide where every player started so we could do our
own qualifing outside linked play and then start from appropiate
positions?

or even better.. include qualifing!!!!

who ever heard of a f1 'sim' with no qualifing!

apart from that
this game rules

personally i think it takes gp2 to the cleaners
and the sense of speed is amazing

ubisoft: keep up the good work with the patches but remember
some of us actually USE the awesomely fast network play but
it needs a ***y bit of attention!!!

I couldn't agree more.. .The multiplayer shows so much potential but comes up
a bit short. I don't know why you can chose any of the "1 player" modes in
Mupliplayer, like Grand Prix, time trails and Championship. Some of us want to
do the whole championship in muliplayer mode. Can't be that hard to
implement... most of the code is already there so why not use it?
Also, how about remembering what car you chose when you exit so it doesn't put
the players into random cars? How about let us chose the damage model
(epecially in the multiplayer). That probably goes for the rest of the game;
why not save all the seting by sefault; incuding the car setups so that they
are loaded automaticaly when you go in. Also, I wish that I could copy my
pre-race setup into the race setup instead of having to go into each
garage-tab seperatelly and click on copy. Why doesn't it just copy the whole
setup?
Anyway, enough complaining.... back to playing 'cos nothing beats F1RS once
you're driving :)
