Yeah, I know...........but who knows; maybe after a few dozen more laps,
after getting a feel for things, you may have.  Maybe not, don't know.

100% is undrivable here too, I have it at 96% now which is perfect
here. Just experiment a bit, set it as high as possible without making
it too twitchy.

Ya know what would be interesting is having a Glen race in GPL, followed
immediately with a glen race in NR2K2... :)

Ahhhhh, the secret is that when you're having a bad day at the track,
just start laughing at yourself - outloud.  I find that it helps me to
either calm down a little and drive more conservatively, or it helps to
make it not seem so bad.  Besides, think of the show you're putting on
for the rest of us when we watch the replays.

This kinda brings to mind my very first attempts at driving Monaco in
GPL.  No matter what I tried, I always hit that damn wall on the right
turn before the haybale hairpin.  I got to the point where I was
laughing so hard that i couldn't make it through the keyhole after the
tunnel for a few laps.

It was great fun actually.

I don't have any of Prodigy's software loaded on my computer, I use it
just like any other ISP. Up until about a month ago, I wasn't having any
problems with my online connection in the GPL league I run. For some
reason, now I'm getting discoed left and right from the league's server.
I didn't notice any problems running the Sears Point race, but when we
went to Daytona, someone told me I was warping during practice, so I
left. The Daytona race wasn't on your server though.

John,

OK, so I've got the Biffle shit out of my system. I appreciate your
advice and will run more races against the AI w/yellows on to get the
restarts down correctly. I do have the spotter on full, and for the
Bristol race I was toggling between F1 and F2. Unfortunately, I had F1
on during the restart and I won't make that mistake again. As for the
accident itself, you hit me a ton as if I wasn't even there, hence my
suspicion that I was warping. For the record, I would never retaliate.
If that was my style, I would have stayed in the race and sandbagged
until you caught up to me. Of course, with my comments in this thread
and the Biffle references I sounded like someone hell bent on vengence.
It's just a game and I was just venting some frustrations. (And trying
to be a little bit funny...and I do mean a little!)

Gary (no more Mr. Biffle)

Yeah, well, it's my fault too Gary; you DID post a mark to make sure
readers saw the smiley face; I should have paid more attention to that.   I
thought the Biffle/Harvick references were funny(a good type of funny<G>)
actually.

It's just one of those things; we didn't know each other beforehand,
chances are if we did, the posts would have been understood better by both
of us.

No hard feelings here, and sorry again for the contact, irregardless of
the cause.  Hope you feel the same, and hope to see you at the next
race............my wife/kids weren't to impressed with me getting home from
work and jumping into a race, so we'll see about this Saturday<G>

No worries then, eh John? Water under the bridge I say. I won't be there
this Saturday...I'll be too busy looking for Biffle's carset ;-)))))
Oops...I forgot we're past that!

I had fun running with David and Uncle Fester at Pocono before.  I wasn't fast
there either, but at least I felt more in control of my car...
It's just going to take a lot of practice...

If this ever comes off I'll be there to tip over the fish.  :O)
