N4 - Force Feedback

N4 - Force Feedback

I haven't kept track of this particular problem, so I'm not sure if its a
known bug or not, but when I enter a race in N4 I loose all force feedback
in my Microsoft FF Wheel. It won't even centre itself.

Anyone found a solution?

No problems here... try tightening up the steering ratio and see if that
helps.

Same problem with Guillemot Ferrari...someone suggested going to....control
panel...*** options...controller ID's... and either un-check or check the
box labeled "poll with interrupts enabled."  I think it was UN-CHECK but I have
had the problem with both settings.  It might be worth a try to change whatever
your setting is and give it a try.

Actually with mine it's rather sporadic.  Sometimes I lose FF and sometimes the
wheel sets itself al the way to the right.  Sometimes it works flawlessly.

Hmmm still sounds odd? What about your Dxdrivers? Are you using 6, 7a,
8 or 8a? I started with 7a and then hopped to 8a but from the start I never
had these unusal "spikes" you are getting.. Maybe Papy can help??
Good Luck Thom_j.

There are definetly issues with the MSFFW and N4 at the SuperSpeedways.

The force around center is non-existent, and it's very difficult not to
wander around the track.  It's like you hit the "Force" button on the wheel
and turned it off.

You don't feel any friction at all until you enter the corners.

On the other hand, it does lessen that dreadful pull to the left.
