GP3 setups

I think I''ve read somewhere that it was possible to re-use the old GP2
setups for GP3.I copied my old setups in the "gp3 gpsaves directory",
but they didn't appear in the list in the load setup menu.It seems
meanwhile that the file types are the same (.csX).

So, is it really possible or did i dream it???

I have serious doubts that the setups in GP3 even do anything to
effect the cars performance. When you can lose your front or rear (or
both) wings and still continue to do quick laps (which happens in GP3)
i can't see the setups doing anything. I've had times where i came
close to beating track records *after* losing both wings in accidents,
so if you can go fast without any wings at all what is slightly
changing the wings angles or other setups going to do? my guess is
nothing, it's just all eye candy that is functionless.
