Bart Westra once posted:

Bart>They are in the properties for your Nvidia graphics card. You get
Bart>there via
Bart>the Display Properties in Control Panel. Click Settings -
Bart>Advanced - RIVA
Bart>TNT - Additional properties - OpenGL Settings. Then set Buffer
Bart>flipping mode

My pc doesn't show this option. Before a crash of the system, I could enable
block transfer, but now the option disappeared. I installed the system with
the 3.77 drivers from Dell's support site. Do I have to install opengl
seperately? In gpl I can opt for opengl. Any ideas?

Ah, ok....you must have a certain driver version to have this option I
guess...but not all is lost, a certain Billy posted this message,
maybe this will help you...

Remco

Billy>I just got the GPL demo yesterday and after seeing how good it
Billy>is, I
Billy>plan on buying the game.  There was a problem with the cars'
Billy>mirrors
Billy>though, which I've learned has been a long-time issue with the
Billy>tnt/tnt2
Billy>cards.  I searched the internet for a solution and came across a
Billy>message
Billy>here about using the 3.53 reference drivers with the "Use Block
Billy>Transfer" setting to fix the problem, which works perfectly.
Billy>The only
Billy>problem is that those drivers suck hehe.  I wanted to know how
Billy>to enable
Billy>that setting with the 2.08 drivers (the best ones imo), and
Billy>discovered
Billy>that this fix can be applied to any driver version by simply
Billy>changing
Billy>the value of the "FlippingControl" setting in the registry to
Billy>"0".
Billy>
Billy>Depending on the driver version, this setting can be found in
Billy>
Billy>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\RIVA
Billy>TNT\OpenGL], or
Billy>
Billy>[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\Display\0001\NVidia\OpenGL]
Billy>
Billy>When doing a fresh install, the settings won't appear in the
Billy>registry
Billy>until an opengl game is run once.
Billy>
Billy>So just in case there are people out there who are looking for
Billy>this type
Billy>of info (since the 3.53 fix is pretty recent), here it is. :)

That did the trick.
