Retracting Warning: MS CPR is great.

Since I originally posted the message "Warning-- Don't buy MS CPR yet," in
which I was critical of MS CPR, I figured I should update. After the patch
the game seems very
much improved (and I have only installed the first patch--1.00.89). Great
job. Thanks

Don't be too hasty there...mine ran ok after the first patch also, but since
loading the second patch the car is even more undriveable than it came out of
the box! I'm very disappointed in this thing and will probebly shelve it.

Don,
Good call, I was entirely too hasty. I have now installed Patch 2 and I'm a
little pissed.
Is Micro$$$oft going to make this thing work, or am I going to have to get
F1RS? They won't talk to anybody, so who knows?

Simple question:

Have you adjusted your setups to compensate for the wing and friction improvements
to the driving model?

FWIW, everyone's ***ing about the second patch, but fact is, it was the FIRST
patch that was porked!  It glued your car to the track on short ovals.  The second
patch is more realistic, but requires some adjustments to your setup and driving
style (especially if you spent any time with the first one).
