I had it working until the latest Voodoo2 drivers came out from 3Dfx.
Now, when I hit "ok" on the Graphics settings box after selecting the
'Voodoo' option, it gives me a "mutual exclusion prohibits this" error.
Help?

I have CL12Mb and use 3dfx in CPR with no problems. I have seen that some
have had to manually edit the Cart.ini file and manually put the
TRIGlide.dll.

I am sure someone who has done it will post. Hang in there it will work!

This is not R.L.'s problem. The crashing in the pits only happens with the
triglide.dll file. The answer is - DON'T USE IT! it is not supported by
Microsoft, and there is hardly any difference between D3D and Glide in this
case.

My original reply was for the Mutual exclusion prohibits this error.

As for Locking in the pits just hit F4 before you go into the pits and then
hit F4 again after you leave the pits.

Why bother with all this, when the glide version is no different to the D3D
in graphical terms?

That's what I was going to say!  Direct3D performance cannot even compare to
Glide performance on CPR with a Voodoo2.

Depends on your CPU I suppose. I see no difference, and I am using PII 300
with V2 12mb.
