Avault got his credibility back at some extent...
Btw it's not announced on the main page (If it's not announced tomorrow I
will not be surprise they try to hide their error) so here is the URL :

The introduction to the review is really a Masterpiece ! ;)
"The evil man known to some as The Reviewer" hehe I ROTF when I read that.
"Knowing that with one word he could ruin the hard work of all the people at
Papyrus". He understood why we were humiliated by his review.
He understands that the goal isn't so see if the marshals are in 2d, but to
have -fun- trying to master those piece of art.
Im still wondering in what racing simulator he saw better graphics. Im not
talking about arcade games. They can have random graphics set up whatever
and whenever they want. But take a peek at Spa and have fun drooling on the
track architecture. How different it is compared to ANY other racing
simulation. Take per example Ubi's or Microprose's or MS's racing
architecture. Do you find such hills that you drive on like at Zandvoort ?
Or even in the old Papy track architecture.. the only difference is the
track openings on the outside walls in BGN tracks. And boom, now we got all
those incredible track architectures of GPL. Just imagine N3 and Cart2000
with such track architecture. The "other" companies game engine are YEARS
behind them for that.
I also understand the point about we don't have the feel of a real car.. but
why is he dissing GPL for that ?? Every OTHER racing sim has the problem..
it's normal <g>
"Do I look like a grease monkey? Well, many of you out there have called me
worse things.... " Hehehehe
Graphics : He obviously never saw other racing simulations. N2 has about no
trees. F1RS has some funny cheesy trees made out of paper it seems ;) MGP
also... C:PR has average trees IMHO. What does he want ?? Full physics of
each and every leaf on the tree ??? Tell me a racing simulation who has
better trees than GPL ??? Hmm. pretty hard heh ? He still wants to play
Carmageddon with those marshals... <g> If they were "outside" the raceable
track he would had NEVER complained about it <g>
"you can't drive across the landscape" Hmm this ain't Colin McRae racing ;)
And he want's non-realistic sounds also ;)
But heh... let's celebrate ;)
