Try the driver that I'm using. Maybe it's as simple as that. It's not the latest
3rd party one, but I think that it's the latest of the "official" 3Dfx drivers (or
perhaps one before the latest). Anyways, it works fine with everything I've thrown
at it such as GPL, F1RC, GP3, Rally Masters, etc, so you don't need to worry about
it being incompatible with something else.
I personally would not change videocards, as I really like my Voodoo5. Again, the
driver I'm using is 4.12.01.0666, dated 12-2-2000.
Good Luck at getting F1 2001 to work. Although I just got it today and have only
run perhaps 25-30 laps with it, it's well worth the effort to get it running.
After tweaking some sensitivity settings, I really like the feel of it.
