How about a sim that allowed you to BUILD your own car from the ground,
up. Specify material, suspension type (separate front/rear suspension),
engine placement (front/mid/rear), tire size/type, and then let you
design a 3d body to put on it. It would also come with a number of pre-
designed cars modeled on real-world vehicles.
The sim could have pre-determined car classes based on height, width,
weight and engine restrictions, and you could design a car that would
fit into one of those classes.
Then, the sim could let multiple classes of race cars on the track all
at the same time, like Le Mans or the 24Hrs of Sebring or Daytona.
The beauty of it would be that you could take one of the cars provided
wuth the sim, and start experimenting with parts exchanges, tire sizes,
engine locations, *** types, etc.
