by and large the DA setups are the way to go, atleast initially. For
the Viper they make a huge difference. For the heck of it I threw in
the Viper Pro setup, wooooooooooahhhhh with this setup its all about
throttle manipulation in the turns,, its a total blast but takes some
getting used to.
When I first loaded up this Mod I was a bit put off, the cars seemed a
bit impossible to drive (and this is from someone who has been driving
GPL for over 1.5 years) But once I got my wheel tweaked in via
deadzone and sensitivity,, then mucked with each car and setup for
another day, I finally clued in.
This sim really demands alot of you but pays off once you get the hang
of it.. these arean't 1967 era F1 cars and you shouldn't expect them
to drive as such. They are totally different beasts, IMHO heads above
SCGT, which was great for its time, but this is another level.
After about 36 hours of driving I can say this Mod is quite well
done,, bravo !!
PS: watch out for the Viper, some give it a bad name, sure it bites
with the least provocation but with the right caressing and soothing
it can be tamed (well atleast for a few laps, hahhaha)
cheers
