im using D3D and for some reason if i go above 640 resolution i dont get all
the screen.The higher i go the smaller the screen until eventually it is
just a block in top left corner. This isnt then even showing what would be
the whole screen only a part of the screen. (it only shows part of car and
mainly Sky)
Anyone got any ideas im using a radeon 9000 card and have tried various
drivers

I had same problem when I went to newest drivers.  I use Omega deivers on
radeon 9200.  ver 2.5.44 was fine,  ver 2.5.51 caused problems.  I dont
remember off hand what ATI ver these are equivelent to.  went back to omega
2.5.44 all well again.  Hope it helps.
