I am trying to install a Microsoft Sidewinder FF wheel on a new system.
The pedals are recognized by the game and the buttons, but the gear
paddles are not. I've tried the DirectX and the Papyrus joystick
drivers.
Everything is recognized in the Control Panel/Game Controller
calibration.
Any suggestions? Thanks for any help you can give.

Load up the "Nascar Racing 2" profile that installs with the Sidewinder
software. It works fine w/ N3, except that you will have to modify the profile
to enable split-axis pedals.

you have to use the profile software for the paddles, for me I used page up
for shift up and page down for shift down and assigned those to the paddles
with the profile software, It works great, If you dont have version 3.02 of
the profile software get it at http://www.microsoft.com/sidewinder
