Half-life was as good, until you got to Xen (the outer-space part).
Then it really dragged. NOLF was great from start to finish, and even
more innovative gameplay-wise.

NOLF cant even be spoke of in relation to Halflife (although I agree about
Xen)

It just didnt involve me as much as HL :(

True again :)
One thing I didn't like in NOLF was how they used motion capturing.
Allthough the models move very real thanks to the use of motion
capturing, the actors were way overreacting in their movements,
spoiling the end result. You know, just as mime-players can be VERY
annoying. (that was nice of ***2: some of the baddies were
mime-players, very satisfying to shoot those)
Gameplay and atmosphere was superb in NOLF, I hope there will be a
NOLF2..
