Anyone getting more than 25fps on GPL with a Stealth s220 in 800x600 mode?

   Thats about right.  I think its the 4meg of memory, I had similar
performance with a V1000 with 4meg -- 640x480 was the max practical
res, it took a big fps hit above that.  I've got a Hercules Thriller
3D 8meg now, and the bar is moved up a notch (800x600 is full fps,
1024x768 slows down).  This is with a C300A/450 and a 15" monitor, so
800x600 is pretty cool for me (the fonts are too small in 1024x768
anyways :).

   Jack's recommendation of a Banshee is OK, if you don't mind losing
backwards Rendition compatability (ICR2/CART, SODA).  A Voodoo2 would
give you the best of both worlds.
