There is a definite slowdown of the graphical image occurring in many places
under varying circumstances that just wasn't there in 1.0. If I set my
latency value to 0.000000, I get the slowdown much more often than if I use
the 0.085000 default value. I haven't tried all the various
combinations--or even turning off FFB, but the latency is at least one part
of the equation. And as I said above, I always use a full field and I have
only seen the warping/temporary slow motion occur where the frame rate is
already dropping due to lots of other cars around.
I hope Papy didn't up the CPU load by simulating FFB on all the AI cars
too... :)
