Newbie to FF wheels

I am going to buy a FF wheel. I've never had a wheel before at all. Could
someone suggest a good reliable FF wheel (not too expensive) that will work
under Win2k. I'm going to be using F12002

Thanks

IMO, the Microsoft FF is the best alrounder, good pedals, good wheel, good
force feedback and well built.  I have had a Logitech Wingman FF (better
wheel IMO but bad pedals) and an Actlabs Force RS.

Hope this helps a little

The Momo without a doubt. I had a MS which has loads of slack in the centre,
the *** came away from the wheel and I couldnt use the buttons with
2000/XP. The Momo is much more precise and I have become a lot more
consistant while using it.

Where you jumping on it?  :)

I have been tempted by the Momo, but the pedals look like they have LWFF
pedals, which IMO is a bad thing :/

That's odd. Was it the gameport version? My USB MSFF has been faultless
under both Win98SE and WinXP, is prefectly acceptable in the centre,
and still has all its ***. Looks like you might just have got  adud
one :-(

Tried it (okay, only once), and couldn't get on with the pedals at all.
Horses for courses, I suppose.

I've found the pedals to be more than adequate, pretty solid and they
have a second hinge point as well. No spiking for me, although the
brake pedal could do with a bit more travel.

The Momo is VERY nice, but one of the more expensive ones of course.
