Hmm...I'm a bit of a compulsive trail braker - maybe that's why I'm so slow! I
found that I had to move the brake balance back to about 52-53% with Doug's
setups to avoid constantly locking the inside front wheel and get minimum
stopping distance. Not that it would matter, I guess - I doubt that the sim
models flatspotting... ; )
Can somebody please post the download URL for Road Atlanta?

Driving an F1 on this circuit is a real blast! No matter what I
tried I could not keep the rear end from bottoming out up the
first right hander (chose a rear ride hight of 4cm and 2cm
packers to go with it ;-), but still the track is fun as hell,
great job. I haven't tried it in GTR2002 yet, but it should
feel even better in a real sportscar.
The F1 BAR actually gets airborne down the last hill before
S/F, crazy! Feels a bit like Flugplatz in reverse 8-)
Cheers & "guten Rutsch" everyone,
Uwe

Blimey David, what time is it over there!
I tried the demo of RC2000 (having been stung and bought a previous
incarnation off the back of decent reviews) and it was *appalling*.
Absolutely no sense of there being any weight to the car at all. I was
particularly disappointed as I had an Ibiza GTi at the time and would have
loved a sim that had a rally tuned version... Are you saying that a mere
*patch* changed it from being what I thought was an unsalvageable pile of
dog-doo into a worthwhile drive? Can you give examples of how it was
improved? Is there any way to test drive a patched version? Would you
agree that the initial release/demo was a complete stinker?
Regards,
Mark
Ya. That must be it.
You are a genius.
I presume a GPL nazi is a person who still thinks GPL is yet to be
surpassed? What's wrong with that? It's a *video game*, and if someone
gets more enjoyment out of GPL than any other "sim" is that wrong somehow?
There certainly seems to be a harcore anti-GPL club, though. What's with
that?
Mark
Plus I thought the aforementioned guy was part of the FIAGTV3
development as well.
Of course then you wouldn't be able to match this to your stereotypical
views.

Supermodels keep me up all night constantly knocking on my front door.
Here's my home page with some photos from last night's pajama party.
