Which version of NASCAR Racing does this upgrade or is it a seperate program
all together.  If it can upgrade N1 i would get it cause it runs under DOS (i
hate Win 95 sims).  Thanks you.

N1999 is a stand alone sim and it has both DOS and WIN95 versions.

Hope This Helps,

It's a different  program altogether.

Well this is sort of true. NR1999 is based on the N2 engine, which
is why the tracks & cars from N2 will import right into NR1999. The
DOS joystick routine appears the same. Plus the Win version of the
game is essentially the same as N2, it just runs in Windows using
DirectX (which definitely does not help performance one bit). One
last insult is that the Win version has absolutely no (ZERO) multiplay
capability. So while this is not an add-on to N2 as such, it certainly
is as close to N2.5 as you can get :-) I bought it and with all the
complaining I do about the fact that they lied about the multiplay
capabilities, I like the game. Plus it let me give N2 to my nephews.
