As you can see, what this does is turn the config.sys into a "menu" where you
can select what way you want your computer to configure the memory. You
must have DOS 6.0 at LEAST to be able to do this (for you DOS 5 users, you
will have to make a boot disk using the lines with the * in front). As well, the
autoexec.bat when it steps through will ask you whether you want to run Windows
or not...select "n" for games, of course. If you DO want Windows, it then calls
"auto.bat" in the dos directory for more configuration before loading Windows.
What does all this mean? You won't need a boot disk ever again, and when you
boot up you can choose whether or not you want games or Windows. Don't
use the "NO_EMM" setting unless a game specifically will not run with it.
