Anything is an upgrade from a broken wheel. ;0)
The new MOMO is not an complete upgrade IMO. I have the LWFF, MOMO Force
and I've seen enough of the MOMO Racing to know it's the lowest build
quality of the 3 so in that regard it's a step back. It probably has
tighter FF given the gear driven motor vs. cable so that's a step forward.
It also has better pedals than the LWFF (another plus). It's a pretty good
replacement if you don't want to buy the MOMO Force which is EXCELLENT ($100
US if you look around). I just think the LWFF is closer to the MOMO Force
in terms of quality and the MOMO Racing reminded me of the cheaper PS2
Logitech that I once owned and never liked.
Here's Logitech's price/quality scale: MOMO Force retail price $199, LWFF
retail $179, MOMO Racing retail $99, PS2 Logitech retail $89.

Does the Momo Force work on the PS2?

The MOMO Force does work with the PS2, just not all racing games (didn't
have a chance to test it since I sold my PS2 6 months ago). There were a
few threads at the www.wingmanteam.com forum discussing compatibility so
have a look. I'm almost positive it works with GT3 and pretty sure it works
with the EA games (F1 2001 and Nascar Thunder 2003).
