F1 2001 Video problem

  I have had F1 2001 running for months with no problems, until I tried to
get it working with F1 relay.  Apparently when I patched it originally, I
missed the correct pathway and one or both of the patches installed on my
c:\ drive instead of the E:\ drive where the sim was.   Like I
said...everything worked so I didn't worry.
   But F1 Relay kept sending back errors, so I reinstalled and repatched and
NOW when I enter the pits during a race, the screen turns to garbage and the
sim locks up.
  has anyone seen this?

   Well about 3 or 4 re-installs later, I 'found' the problem.  Why it is a
problem?  I don't know, but when I ran the 3d setup, I was turning on FSAA
at various screen resolutions.   I kept getting crashes and lockups UNTIL I
re-ran the 3d setup and turned OFF the FSAA.
  Aye Carumba!   At least now it works, 3 quick race tests with pitting each
time...no problems...
(my guess is I've disabled FSAA in my Nvidia drivers somewhere...)
