It's kind of sad, actually. I have been the "fanboy" before and can
empathize with some of the posters that REALLY want the West Racing Legends
to be all that it promises. However, after two decades of beta testing, game
playing and wading through tons of hype, I do not believe that WRL will even
be half the game that some of these fans expect it to be. Actually, I don't
ever expect to see it released, but I'll be happy if I'm proven wrong.

Just imagine if they were to release a "beta version" that was nothing more
than a copy of the Atari classic Pole Position. I would forever idolize
them, if I didn't die on the spot from laughing so hard that I ruptured
internal organs.
I'm in a win/win situation here. If it ever gets released and is any good, I
get a new game. If it doesn't , I thoroughly enjoy myself watching the utter
chaos they have spawned.
