F12002 Demo

Heard of Nascar Racing 2002?
Now *that's* a benchmark!

Sure GPL got good multiplayer features, but the physics, sound and grapichs
(original that is) is miles behind.   And dont get me wrong -  I completely
agree with you that F12002/2001 is a disappointment compared to GPL...  as
I've said many times before; GPL gave us 20 cars online racing over 3 years
ago, and any developer who fail to atleast mach that today - isn't even
trying Imho.

I debated whether or not to put a smiley in, but decided against it,
assuming most of y'all would realize I was being facetious...

Yes I have.  Great game!  As I said...from the first line of my post, "GPL
still IS the benchmark for F1 sims.."  Ed I wasn't going off on you.  I'm
just frustrated that F12001 was sooooooo close to replacing GPL for me
because the driving experience is so good.  If they can get good multiplayer
(AI in multiplayer too darnit!) and a nice usable replay (that doesn't crash
and has the correct aspect ratio) then GPL will start to gather dust.

No, no multiplayer. The only thing I've heard about the multi is that there
is a line in one of the files now that says Max multiplayer=16.
