Sierra's On-Line Communities
Most of you have complained time and time again about the AI. If
you're unhappy with the AI then return the title - Sierra has an
excellent 90 day guarantee.

We at Sierra pride ourselves in allowing members to openly voice their
opinion about the titles we produce, but there are limits. At other
forums you'll likely find any negative feedback on a company's
products immediately deleted. If you have a complaint about N4's AI
then we want your feedback. You're welcome to voice your concerns a
few times if you need to, however, ongoing complaining is only wasting
valuable bandwidth at our forums.

Thanks for listening,

Mike

This sounds to me as Papyrus doesn't have any intention of modifying
the AIs.

This sounds (and the past has proven it) like a Sierra board representant
who simply want people to stop whining about the AI.  Papyrus knows.
Papyrus is fixing it.

There is a big difference between complaining and an even halfway thorough
bug report. I'm on my second beta test right now, and am still amazed that
some testers do the same thing. They start venting on the poor guys who are
developing this stuff because it porked em'. Then ya get the post from the
moderators telling the rest of us to settle down, or more heads will
roll...lol
So what, the AI is a little sloppy. Like John said, what was said, was
spoken by the publisher and not the developers. Papy has always made
corrections, i'm sure all will be well soon enough.

That's not what the arrogant bum said.  He said If ya don't like it return it
and stop wasting our time.  If they were working on it or even considering
working on it he would have said....at the very least "we are working on
improving our already excellent AI"

Exactly, he's a Sierra (note, NOT Papyrus) rep. that works on the board.  He
wants people to stop whining on his board about the AI.  Duh.  If people are
that much frustrated that they can't whine and feel that they had their
money wasted, they can always return it.

lmao!  Papyrus created the code, but can't modify it?   Where's your logic?

They've been "working on" their crappy AI for about 5 years now, and
it seems to be getting worse rather than better. Maybe it's time they
stop working on it and hire someone who knows how to fix it.

Who would have thought back when N1 came out that the AI in NASCAR
games would still suck in 2001? The graphics, sound. and other candy
improves, but the game itself (racing) still blows.

Do you really think that the AI hs not been improved?  I have seen
improvements on every release.  I do know how you can make such a bold
statement such as " the game itself (racing) still blows."  What are
you comparing the "game itself" to?
