CH Pedals and Joystick

CH Pedals and Joystick

by John Hartridg » Thu, 26 Sep 1996 04:00:00

I am thinking of getting the CH Pedals to use with driving sims
to use with the Suncom G-Force flight yoke I already have.  But
I only have a joystick port that will accept one joystick.  So I
was wonderring if anyone knows if the Pedals and yoke can be
connected together (out of the box, as it were) to look like
the x and y axes of one joystick (I'm not really interested in
using the y axis of the yoke) or would I need to make an adaptor
cable to connect them or do I need a new games port as the
pedals and yoke will require one whole joystick port each ??

Thanks.

John

I have the CH pedals and they are wired to the second joystick port. They
can be setup so that throttle and brake are on a single axis or on two
separate axes.  You could make an adapter that wired them to the y-axis of
the first joystick port and set the switch to single axis mode.

Well, I'm not sure what type of crack your on, but MY CH        pedals has a
Y-adapter built into the connection.  Therefore allowing my Suncom F-15E
Eagle to plug into my CH throttle which then plugs in to the pedals which
ultimately plug into my Joystick port!  WOW no special adpt. needed.
