The CH PRO pedals have (quoted from chproducts.com);

"PRO PEDALS from CH are the first rudder pedals on the market to feature a
forward/backward slide motion for flying and a pivot movement for racing
games."

How useful is this "pivot movement" for GPL, or racing games in general.

The CH Pro pedals are almost twice the cost of the normal CH pedals, are
they worth the extra money?

I have no interest in flight sims.

These pedals will be used with a Logitech Wingman Formula Force USB wheel.

Brad,

Standard is good enough for racing sims, you don't need the pro unless you
do flight sims.

I have the PRO version, is excellent. It seems that the normal version
has just one of the movements. It must be pivot and not the slide to
use for cars!! Check that before you buy.

The Pro is wonderful...... for flight sims/race sims. Also the pedals are a
little farther away from eachother on the Pro, which is more comfy for me as
I am on the large side. I tried the normal CH pedals first because of the
price difference. BUt I returned them and got the Pros, mainly because of
the closeness of the pedals (still farther apart than most race pedals I
would guess. I play more flight sims that race sims, GPL being the only one
that I am interested in.

The pedals shift backward and forward, imitating an airplane's rudder bar
action. So if your right foot goes forward your left foot goes backward at
the same time. This movement can be blocked for car racing with chocks
(plastic blokjes) that come with the pedals,leaving you with normal foot up
and down pedal action. Toffe pedalen als je ook flight simt.

Ch pedals (not the pros) have normal foot up and down pedal action only. I
bought these first, but upgraded to the pros.
