As far as I know, David Noonan is Geoff Crammond's alias when he's doing
work for "The Pits", Jan Kohl recruited him on one of his many trips to
the UK, I think they met over a pint in a pub somewhere, one of them
remarked something about liking racing sims on the PC, and when Jan
mentioned that he had now taken over the daily running of "The Pits"
after Jed left, Geoff promptly asked him if he needed any help in any
way as that was just *the* most awesome sim-racing site ha had ever seen
and now that GP2 was ready, he needed something to do with his time,
this is also why GP3 is taking so long of course, just imagine doing the
GPL stuff during the day, and then try to squeeze in a bit of GP3
programming late at night, but at least he has his priorities right.....
That's what I heard anyway, but to quote Ed Benson, "I could be
wrong".....
