Its no big deal putting the springs in, all you need is a phillips
screwdriver. There are two screws on each pedal that holds the top of the
pedals on the arms. Remove those and take the wide part of the pedals off
so you can remove the base. Flip the pedal base upside down on your lap,
and take out all the screws that you see. now you can remove the base from
the top of the unit. You will see that there is a***that runs
horizontal into each side of each pedal. Inside these you will see what
remains of your springs. Just take the screws off and put the new springs
in. Thin coil springs go on the accelerator, thicker coils go on the brake.
Long end down. reassemble in reverse order.

The BEST FIX! ! ! ! ! Spend a few more dollars and buy a TSW2 from THOMAS
ENTERPRISES then sell the TM Pro that will fix your spring problem for
good.
You must try not to move the pot too much (the gear wheel thingy).
If you move it too much, your calibration will be screwed by
either going too high or too low. Maybe mark the position with tape
before removing the old spring.
My controller is a T2 (after 2 years, still goin :),
but the pots should be similar.
Jason.
actually, the new nascar pro pedals don't need the pot removed. It is made
so you don't have to remove the pedal or anything to change the springs.
you just pop the cap off and slide the new springs in. It is very easy and
hard to***up.
