Well, I am hoping to relive the days where I was so into Grand Prix (I never
did like GP2).

What is the best F1 sim out there these days?

Thanks

I don't know if it's in Canada or not, but I phone order European releases
from www.gameplay.com and they deliver very quickly. The prices are
excellent too.

Cliff, Grand Prix Legends is the only possible answer to that question.
(ignore that DGF fool).

Actually, on this occasion, I'd agree with DGF ;)
F1RC is indeed a great modern F1 sim. GPL is a great historic F1 sim though.

Ian I still kinda prefer F1CS200! Maybe I havent given F1RC enough
seat time tho? Gpl is a given!!..lol It will be one hard sim to beat & it's
sad that they are gouging prices on what little GPL games that are left!
I saw one on mysimon.com who wants $50+shipping now! phew..
Cheers Thom_j.

Well the question was (and only was) "What is the best F1 sim out there
these days".  There is only 1 answer possible, and it's GPL :)

F1RC is not a great modern F1 sim. It's the best, but it's poor.

Let's see now, you've always openly declared your dislike for anything
Ubisoft, so is your opinion biased ?
If someone asks about an F1 sim, I always consider they deserve an opinion
about a modern and historic one :)

I just can't get to like F12000 or CS, the cars just feel way too soft on
the suspension and sluggish in steering and gas / brake response to feel
like an F1 car.
GPL is still the king however, after my league race at Mosport last night I
was shaking from the adrenaline rush !! :)
You can pick up GPL on the Sierra originals label here for less than 10.

Ok you got me on that one.
New RAS rule: From now on anyone enquiring about an F1 sim must be precise
about what season they want simulated ;)

Hmmmm Pole Position?   ;-)

Or get some sort of track pack/carset + adjusted power values for GP2!
