GPL3?  (in some wonderful parallel universe <sigh>)

I'm not sure of the exact time...heck anything past yesterday throws me
for a loop.
But back in the 'good ol days' of computing...on the Amiga platform, they
had a Ferrari
F1 sim.  Head panning, mouse steering, engine wear & tear.  That would have
to be
the late 80's or early nineties..(just when was the Amiga out?  I had
one,,,can't remember
what the spread of years were when I owned it...

Hmmm...vague memories of my Amiga 1000, but all I can recall was Marble
Madness and Mindstorm(?)

Your absolutely right !! Ferrari Formula 1 for the Amiga and PC. I
played it to death.

It modelled 1986 well about 8 cars of it !!

One feature I loved was the turbo whistle it came out of the left hand
speaker and wound down after the engine slowed !!!!

Regards Mike

Oh I'm all for some kick a** turbo driven F1 cars.  Give me 89 or whatever
year had the Honda that was up around 1500 -2000 hp for qualifiying.  Oh
yeah.  Hotlap here I come.  Also need to have all the tracks from GPL to run
on.  The Ring in Senna's McLaren Honda!

I'm stoked,
Grider

EA's Ferrari Formula One. That would be the later 80's. Probably came out
in '87. It was neat for the time but they programmed in C, I believe,
(instead of assembler) and used OS coding instead of directly hitting the
hardware so it didn't have the performance that it could have or that World
Circuit (the first in the the series that led up to GP3) did about 3-5
years later.

Mindwalker. Strange, STRANGE, game. Had some of the best sound effects
ever in an Amiga game though.
