NASCAR BUG??

Got my copy of this great game yesterday.  However this is one question I
have.  It seems that some of the tracks look like they are concrete when
they should not be (Tally and Martinsville).  Is this somethng to do with
the track editor or is there a problem with my system (i.e. my vid card)?
Here is what my system consists of:

                Pentium 133
                Motherboard w/ Triton 3 chipset & 512k cache
                16M RAM
                17" SVGA Monitor (MAG Innovition)
                Soundblaster AWE 32 PnP
                2G HDD
Matrox Millineum (sp?) Video Card w/ 4M WRAM
also this card is running BIOS version 2.2
                8X CD-ROM

I read in the README file that there was a problem with this vid card for
BIOS versions older than 2.0.  But I have the newest version of the BIOS.
The demo ran fine with regards to track color.  If someone can help please
let me know.

BTW...  The game is great.  I like the better graphics and especially enjoy
having a spotter to help.

Martinsville does have a concrete patch on the inside of both T1/2 and
T3/4. I think if you check out the screenshot, you can see this.

Talladega hasn't been resurfaced in awhile, and the asphalt has faded. I
thought the color looked about right the last time I raced it, but I
haven't checked out the release version yet. If I remember right, they even
included the access gate on the back straight that allows the service
vehicles on the track.

The concrete tracks are the same in mine also and I would guess in all the
shipped copies. There are several bugs that need to be addressed but it's
still great that it's out and running.

The only bug I've found is if you pause a race..exit to main..and attempt
to accelerate the race it will remain paused. Since you cannot go back in
to race mode you and everyone else is "done for the day".

One other thing that would be *slightly* useful is the ability to save the
race weekend. C'mon..this is basic....those of us foolhardy enough to run
100% championship races need to be able to save. Other than that
everything is outstanding...an incredible sim that will keep me busy for
months to come!

If you ever go to Talladega, you'll see that the asphalt is much lighter
than say, C***te, and is reproduced well at the New Dega.  As for
Martinsville,
the inner lanes of both turns are concrete.
