So, where do I start? I picked up a copy of the game and downloaded the
patch and bought a Logitech FF wheel.
Are there any good sites for newbies or alternatively just sites with good
strategies, hints etc?
THanks in advance,
M.

You should look at my beginner's guide at
http://www.legendscentral.com/gplintro.shtml
When you're done their pop along to our GPL forum if you have any questions.
We also host the excellent Lights Out Racing track guides as part of our
site here:

: I hav finally got some free-time on my hands and am wanting to get into
GPL.
: So, where do I start?
After you have some times for all tracks sign up for GPLRank
http://gplrank.schuerkamp.de and kiss your life goodbye.
I'm on semi-holiday (still working but wife's out of town for 2.5 weeks!)
and what am I doing? Lap after lap of the 'Ring.
Dale.
Fill up the fridge. Unplug the phone. Lock the doors. Pull down the
curtains.
Attach 'go faster' stripes to your monitor.
Then you have to:
1. Practise.
2. When you think you are done practising: Repeat from step one until fridge
is empty.
3. Refill fridge.
4. Goto 1.
Jon Andersen,
needs to refill his fridge
Rob (just one more "pylon" Jon needs to swerve around on his way to the
front)
No. You do not have to move into a grocery store. You just need to buy a
significantly bigger fridge ;-)
Jon Andersen,
considering buying asn additional fridge, even though he is not ***ed to
GPL (GPL is bad, food is good)
If I were ***ed, then I would wake up in the morning, remembering silly
dreams about winning races in the BRM.
Well, I don't.
Winning races in the BRM is impossible.
But I frequently get quite annoyed with my alarm clock, as it always
disturbs me when I'm about to pass a Lotus with my Cooper at the end of the
race. That %#"#! clock has stolen a considerable amount of victorys from
me.
Jon Andersen,
hates his alarm clock
