Upgrading NASCAR Versions

I recently downloaded V 1.21 from a WWW page to a floppy and then ran
my anti-virus program on it.  Now I need to know how to install this
new update into my game.  Where can I find detailed, step by step
instructions on how to do this?  I have the CD-ROM version.
