REQ: Papyrus Indy Car upgrade patch to version 1.05

by BRITO RODRIGO OTAVIO GOM » Tue, 14 Mar 1995 11:31:13

Hi World!

I recently read the IndyCar FAQ 1.4, and found out that there is a 1.05
upgrade to the Papyrus game!

I checked the listed ftp sites with no luck!

Please, could someone point me to the right direction!

I really need to know where I can get the upgrade!

Thanks in advance!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

e-mail anything to:

Thanks again

Version 1.05 comes with the add on track pack as well as the Indy
track/paintkit pack.  It is identical to V1.04 which is available on the
Papyrus BBS and I assume other places...

For the benefit of many people asking that question I reply in the newsgroup.
I recently talk with Papyrus about a minor bug I got with V1.05. In their
answer, they told me that I could try to download V1.04 since there was almost
no difference except for a change in a add-on track and a change in the
memory manager. In other words the latest major upgrade is V1.04. As they
told me you won't see any difference "functionnally"... I think the difference
about the memory management has something to do with HIMEM.SYS from DOS since
they recomand to add it in the config.sys file when using V1.05.
