For all the GPL fans out there, SpeedTV is showing a special on Jackie
Steward. There's some footage of the GPL era in there. It's on now
(8pm-10pm Eastern).

It's being re-run at 1AM to 3AM Eastern later on tonight.

I may be able to come to the rescue Eldred... :-) I have it capped, now it
just remains to process it, and hopefully I don't encounter any problems.

The show was absolutely brilliant. Nice to see quotes from some folks who
have left us: Graham Hill, Ken Tyrell, Tony Rudd.

You rock! What capture card do you use?
Does anyone still have a Hauppage WinTV card, and/or the knowledge to help me
get it working correctly? I have a bunch of races and racing shows on VHS that
I could make available for people if I only knew HOW.

I've got an old Asus Geforce2 with capture functionality in a 2nd system.
I've tried a couple dedicated capture "TV cards" and they didn't allow me
to capture in 640x480 like my Asus does. I don't know much about the
Hauppage card though. You might do like Charlie suggests and try new
drivers.

Last time I tried it(long time ago), I could capture stills but now movies.
IIRC, it *said* it was capturing, but it just lied...
I'll see about drivers from that site. Thanks - I'll let you know if it works.

I think all the uninjured drivers of the GPL era should be recognized for
just surviving that turbulent period. Some of those crashes looked
horrific!
