Can you change colors in Windows95 without rebooting? I think I remember
a Microsoft add-on but can't rememeber what it was called...

For some reason I have an option in my Display control panel to add an
icon in the task bar, but others have reported it is not there for
them.  You can achieve a similar end-result with the QuickRes PowerToy
from Microsoft.

MS released something called the Powertoys.  Has a program there called
QuickRez.  Lets you change color depth and screen size on the fly.
