Rendition - Vérité(tm) chip 3D cards - Are any available yet?

The Creative PCI 3D Blaster will be based on the Rendition chip. The
July Computer *** World has a big writeup on the various 3D chips.
They talk about having seen several games on this card so there is a
working model. The article says that the Cretive board will be the first
to ship with the Verite chip, unfortunately they don't mention when we
might see this card. "At press time pricing hasn't been set, but it will
probably be well under $300 for a 2 MB card."

They also mentioned that they ran a Verite-optimized ICR2 on it, all
details on with a smooth frame rate on a P-100.  They didn't get into
frames-per-second, but will this optimized version ship with the
card, perhaps?
