Will there be 3D only version of Rendition card?

Heres my problem. I very much want to upgrade from my current Diamond
Stealth 64 card to a Hercules Dynamite 128 card for its DOS performance.
I'm a die-hard GP2 player and have recently upgraded CPU to a 166 just
to get the most textures on as possible.

Still, I'm anxiously awaiting a update of GP2 for one of the 3D chips
out there. Since theres no official word as to whether they'll choose to
support 3Dfx or Rendition, I'd like to put off making that decision and
upgrade my card to improve performance with the current GP2.

My question is, if I buy the Hercules and Microprose chooses Rendition
for an update, will I have to sell my Hercules card in order to get a
Rendition card? Will there be a 3D ONLY version of the Rendition card
ala the Diamond Monster 3D?

Thanks,

Frank

No.  The Verite chip was designed with a 2D core.
