my list of racing sims..what others should I have?

I'm looking for suggestions on decent racing sims for my P4 2.6.
I'm on dialup here so downloading demos (and they're huge now) is out.
Strictly on word of mouth, what's a decent sim that everyone should have in
their collection?

Presently I have: N2002, N4, N3, NL, N2, N1
                          NFSHP2, NFSPU, NFSHS, NFSHP, NFSse
                          EA's Nascar 2000, F1-2001, Sports Car GT
Pitbulls TestDrive 6, 4, Dirt track Racing 2
                          EVO's 4x4
                          NHRA Drag Racing 2
                          Network Q Rally Championship
                          Screamer 2

Thanks for any suggestions!!

Are my eyes deceiving me or is GPL really not in there? ;-)

F1C is worth a look, and F12002 just for the mods.  Netkar and LFS are not bad
either.

NR2003 and F1 Challenge.  Both are "just" updates to games you already have,
but they are pretty big updates with better physics and better graphics than
the versions you have.  Also you might want to get some of the Project
Wildfire mods for NR2003, I know you said you are on dailup but they aren't
really huge downloads.  Besides, if you get a download manager that can hang
up the connection for you when done, then you can just set them up when you
go to bed and let them run overnight.

You don't have any of the current offerings, and of course you don't have
the one that all others are still compared to:

GPL
EA's F1C '99-'02
NR 2003 Season

For simulations, these are the best available.  If you want arcade style,
console like games, stick with the titles on your list after the papy titles
you have listed.

Nascar Heat (2000) and the million or so mods n tracks should keep you
happy a while longer.  Physics are good also, and controller support is
excellent.

Live For Speed is worth your time downloading- work through the demo til
you get the XR Turbo and see if you like it.  Worth the small price, in my
opinion to register it.

Oh, and NR2003 is the best of the series, and should be cheap as chips by
now.

cheers

What, no GPL?

Worse still, no Revs?   ;)

Mercedes-Benz Truck Racing is a pretty interesting change of pace if you can
get it to run on your system.
F1C and NASCAR 2003 are great programs as well.

As a side note - how do you like NHRA2?  I had some drag racing game(Burnout, I
think) that sucked, IMO.  I could never get the damn thing to work right...

  Leadfoot
Powerslide- arcade game but the physics are good, graphics are good for an
old game.
MotoGP 2- I used to think Superbike 2001 was better, but this won me over
eventually.  Gamepad is best
Colin McRae Rally 2 (if you like Rally racing at all- very challenging.
It took me a while to beat it on easy)
Rallisport (just for the graphics), Rally Masters is also OK (but doesn't
run well on newer ATI cards)
Rally Trophy (very hard, harder than CMR 2, but interesting cars, nice
graphics)
Nascar Thunder 2004 looks like it might be shaping up to be good
  Sportscar GT
NASCAR HEAT- the Spirit of HEAT mod is cool, and the actual game is highly
playable

I would add

Mercedes-Benz Truck Racing (for something completely different :) )

Mercedes-Benz World Racing (Like NFS:PU with Mercedes)

Mobil 1 BRC (a little old but still great, although the physics are iffy
but can be altered in the config file)

F1 2002

F1 Challenge '99-'02

GPL (if you can get it to run on a new system; I've have problems
getting my wheel to work)

     - F50 GT

I like your list. I would add one more:

GPL
EA's F1C '99-'02
NR 2003 Season
Live For Speed

I know a lot of people like it, but I cant stand LFS.  It feels like I'm
playing a slightly improved NFS, way too arcadey for me.  Or maybe its just
not my cup of tee.  And online is full of %^&)*&, well you know the type..
;)

Your arse is an arcade?

I made it very clear it was my opinion, and I slammed noone.  How do you
phrase a statement so that you dont get some pinhead posting a smartass
comment?
